That's why, the manufacturability of the product and the draft angles are checked by using Alias, and the required revisions are made on the surfaces. This phase is finalized by reducing production costs and applying the latest technologies on the product. In order to understand how the product will look like in reality, color scheme, material and texture alternatives are evaluated by using Alias's realtime texture rendering applications.
When the design is finalized and agreed upon digitally, then it is time for a mock up stage to check the design in real life. Using Stratasys Rapid Prototyping systems, CNCs and Huntsman Advanced Material solutions a presentation or functional prototype is produced.. Final evaluations on the prototype are conducted, and the design changes are identified. At the end of this phase, all the changes are carried over to the digital model using Alias.
The designed product is ready to be presented to customers with all the details, the engineering phase starts afterwards. The design data is converted into various formats and transferred to related departments for engineering and manufacturing.
